"Libn bizn toyt!" (love to death!). Big emotions make the poetry of the late Yiddish poet, Celia Dropkin. Born in 1887 in the Russian Empire, she moved to New York to join her husband who had fled for political reasons. She lived much of her adult life in New York City and raised six children. She became known for her erotic Yiddish poems.
